  What is Tamagotchi Classic? The new Tamagotchi Classic, now available for iPhone and iPad devices, is the modern equivalent of the old virtual pet craze of the 90s. Tamagotchi Classic can only be purchased from the App Store for free and is not available on any other devices. What's interesting about this is that this app isn't actually a game. It's an iPhone/ iPad app that recreates the world of a traditional Japanese pet store. Users purchase virtual pets based on their interests. Pets can be pets like Koi fish (for those with a more "traditional" style of lifestyle) or Koi turtles. T amagotchi classic   has many features that are very similar to the older virtual pet sites.
